lockdown fatigue but please be vigilant

pet peeve: people who act like it is ok to go back to pre- march activities as if nothing has happened these past months. yes– it feels good to move onto a different phase in this covid19 reality. i have been getting lockdown fatigue just like most people. but there is a long way to go.

this virus is still spreading in many places. cities are especially vulnerable still. the coronavirus can be shared if we are not following the best practices. social distancing still applies in all phases; masks help to minimize the spread.

my mother is 97 and i cannot afford getting this virus, bringing it home and infecting her. wearing a mask if you are asymptomatic means that you can minimize putting the coronavirus in the air where others (I) can get it. wearing a mask and practicing social distancing show respect for others while we navigate through this pandemic

do to others as you would have them do to you
